Business Resumed!

Hi All,

At the weekend, me and Gareth competed in the Killarney Rally of the Lakes. It was an truely awsome rally, and we came away with the result we wanted, a win in the Fiesta Sport Trophy section. We continued on to day two, but unfortunatly, driveshaft failure stopped us from getting a top 15 position overall, plus 1st in class N3.

It was an extremely difficult rally for both myself and Gareth, after our off, the last time on sealed surface. It took the majority of day 1 to find our speed, and some stages on day 2 to improve further. However I was happy with the pace on some of the latter stages on day 2, putting some more expensive machinery to shame!

Our Fiesta Sport Trophy Ireland championship win is looking more and more possible as the events go buy, but their are still 3 though events to go, it's still wide open.

Our next rally, is possibly the Jim Clark Memorial Rally, based in Scotland. It's the next round of the British Rally Championship, but not a round of the Fiesta Sport Trophy UK. At the moment we are trying to round the funds left right and centre, in order to take part. We are 7th overall, leading the BRC Junior Championship, as well as class R3, so we are keen to get another good points score on the board. Time and money will tell if we shall go!

I am also heading to The Manx Rally this weekend, to spectate and watch closely. We will be participating in the International rally later in the year, and it is a good oppertunity to go and see the island.

In the mean time, please continue to visit the website for up to date press realeases and updates to this blog

Bye for now
